Responsibilities:
Promotional, technical, operational & financial management requirements of the of the Association specific to Asphalt and Aggregate materials. Works on behalf of the NYMaterials Board of Directors and NYMaterials Membership as required.

Liaison to the National Asphalt Pavement Assn. (NAPA), Asphalt Pavement Alliance (APA) and State Asphalt Pavement Association (SAPA). Also, liaison to the National Stone, Sand, and Gravel Association (NSSGA).

Bruce Barkevich Has been with the NY Construction Materials Association since 2003 when he became Vice President of the Asphalt Pavement Producer Council. In 2026 he was selected to be the Associations President and CEO. Prior to his work in the Association, he was a Project Manager and Equipment Manager for Callanan Industries, Inc for 13 years. He also was a Project Manager/Project Engineer for Pin Oak Construction. Bruce is a graduate of the University of Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities
Promotional, technical, educational, operational, and financial requirements of the Association specific to Concrete and Aggregate materials. Works on behalf of the President, NYMaterials Board of Directors, and NYMaterials Membership as required.

Liaison to the National Ready Mix Concrete Association (NRMCA). Member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB). Member of Joint ASTM-AASHTO Cement Harmonization Task Group (2003 – present). Member of the Eastern NY Chapter of ACI.

Don Streeter has been with New York Construction Materials since 2019, originally as a consultant to the Concrete Division, in 2023 he became VP of the Concrete Division, and in 2026 became Vice President of the Association. Prior to NY Materials, Don worked 32 years for the NYSDOT with the bulk of his career serving in the Materials Bureau providing expertise of concrete materials, mixtures, and construction applications. Don is a graduate of Clarkson University with a Bachelors degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.
